Info on rates and terms of business

The war in Ukraine and the influence on rates and terms of business from the Port of Frederikshavn.

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has led to strong sanctions imposed on Russia, particularly against the country´s financial systems. Russia is important regarding supply of raw materials and energy for the rest of Europe. These supply chains and prices are already influenced by the effect of COVID-19.

This means that Port of Frederikshavn is in an unforeseen situation, out of our control, and probably we have only seen the beginning. This situation most likely means that we are heading towards complications on deliveries from our suppliers – both regarding matters of supply times and supply prices. This also means that we might end in situations with Force Majeure on certain terms of business from our suppliers.

Due to the situation, we hereby announce that our prices and terms of business can be changed without further notice. Price increases will be available here on our website and we encourage you to keep an eye on our website.

The summary of the written above means potential limitations and longer delivery times on some of our services and agreements. We regret the situation however we continuously keep working on securing our delivery capacity.
