We are happy to welcome Jytte Hoeyrup and Anders Brandt Soerensen as new board members of the board of directors at the Port of Frederikshavn.

On the appointed meeting in December, the town council of Frederikshavn disgnated two new members  for the Port of Frederikhavn board of directors. Jytte Hoeyrup and Anders Brandt Soerensen joined the board of directors per January 1, 2018 and the designation is valid for a period of 4 years. The new board members replace Jens Hedegaard Kristensen and Anders Broholm.

Chairman, Bo Uggerhøj, expressed great gratitude for a good and constructive cooperation with Jens Hedegaard Kristensen and Anders Broholm. He concurrently welcomes Jytte Hoeyrup and Anders Brandt Soerensen and looks forward to the future cooperation.


Jytte Hoeyrup (town councillor, The Liberal Party)
Jytte is 58 year old and has 32 years of experience as leader within the food industry, of which the last 15 years have been as co-owner and entrepreneur:

“I know that a good board of directors is crucial for a good company. Therefore, I shall be positive to the job and look forward to working with the other board members. I look forward to be a part of a success. This is how I see the Port of Frederikshavn. The ongoing expansions will be of great value to the town and the entire municipality of Frederikshavn in the future. The seeds have been laid for good growth potential, job creation and development opportunities. I look forward to follow this up close.”

Anders Brandt Soerensen (town councillor, Social Democrat)
Anders is 40 years old and works at Frederikshavn Gymnasium & HF:

“Frederikshavn is great, not the least the port. The port has always been determinative for the nerve, life and prosperity of the town. More so now, where the port expansions and activities contribute to filling the town with hope and work places. I very much look forward to being a little part of the long history of the port. The port has the view to the world and knows what we want.”
